Tableaux à l’acrylique

Mon intérêt pour la lumière et sa capacité à transposer formes et émotions est à la base de toutes mes œuvres. Mes tableaux architecturaux reposent  sur des préoccupations formelles; j’y mets en scène différents éléments architecturaux transformés par des jeux d’ombre et de lumière. Dans mes tableaux nocturnes, j’explore plutôt l’aspect théâtral de l’environnement urbain moderne.

Acrylic Paintings

The thread that seems to run through all of my work is an interest in the phenomenon of light and its ability to describe form and elicit emotion.  In the architectural paintings my interests are of a more formal nature, using arrangements of architectural elements influenced by the effects of light and shadow.  In the night paintings, my concern is exploring the theatricality of the modern urban environment.
