KESSLER, Wolfgang

Wolgang Kessler was born in Hannover , Germany, in 1962. He studied art at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig and obtained a Masters in Fine Arts in 1988. He has worked as a teacher assistant at the HBK Braunschweig. He has been awarded many distinctions including the Internationales Künstlerhaus Villa Concordia Bamberg, the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes for the Deutsche Studienzentrum Venedig and the Land Niedersachsen. In 2004, he has been invited to represent Germany at the Symposium of Contemporary Art at Baie-St.-Paul, Québec. He lives and works in Hannover , Germany.
