BURGERS, Bobbie

Bobbie Burgers was born in 1973 in Vancouver, B.C and received a B.A. in Art History in 1996 from the University of Victoria. In 1997 she attended summer sessions at The Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. Burgers is known for her luscious bouquets and pastoral landscapes replete with sumptuous color and bold, vivacious movement. Her work has become more rich, dense and complex as her ideas have rapidly evolved. She has exhibited in more than twenty three solo and group exhibitions in the past five years.
